It’s like a soft breeze before the storm. One last moment of complete silence before the first flash of lightning. Every inch of your body is tense in anticipation of what’s to come. You hear the first few notes of the intro of Since April, you feel it resonating and moving within you. Suddenly, the storm breaks loose. The energy this band unleashes hits you like a wave in the middle of an ocean and with every chord and every motion you feel it rushing faster and faster through your veins. You feel your heart pounding in your chest. Is this the air that you feel vibrating around you? Or is it the ground that’s starting to shake from the movement of rest of the crowd? You notice it getting a grip on you, too. You start to jump, letting go of all the troubles clouding your mind and you hear yourself singing words to a song you’ve never heard before…as the last note is fading away, you feel whole and exhausted at the same time and you start to wonder when you can see this band perform again.
